I've used a couple of VPS hosts from Catalyst Host for a few years and I've never had any problems. I have one very small VPS that's $1 USD per month that I mainly use as a SOCKS proxy and it's been perfect for that role. I have a larger 30GB VPS that I use as a web host and it's easy to manage through the web page and set reverse DNS, monitor usage stats, and rebuild servers.
