Let me start of this review by telling that I'm a customer of FastVM for more than 4 months now.

First of all, I'll talk about some great things, which there are not many of:
- Performance : The performance of their virtual private servers is great. I've never come across any issue with it.
- Price : The price is great! I must admit that. I've never seen a hosting with that good price to performance ratio as FastVM.
- DDoS Protection : Excellent DDoS protection, capable of defending against any free or paid stresser. Even that one is not perfect at all, as it does not protect against any UDP attacks, and I had to pay them 14€ to protect me. More about that below.

Alright. Those are some of the good things about FastVM.io. Now, let me talk about other, bad things:
- Support : Let me start off by saying they have only one support, who is also the owner of the hosting service. He is sometimes rude and unfriendly, and you need to wait for he's response for more than 10 hours. I've had some issues with their high-performance VPSes - basically, Docker was not willing to install, OS was pretty much stuck, and even reinstall was not working properly. Ok, great, I've contacted him, and he did not understand 90% of words I was saying. He probably didn't even know what docker is in the first place. Well, he basically installed Docker & Pterodactyl for me, but for 7€, even tho I could to that all myself if everything worked properly.
- Reliability : Ouch... This one is TRULY SPECIAL. In the last month, my VPS restarted more than 10 times, while I had to boot up my daemon every single time myself because they don't know how to deal with problems without rebooting whole dedicated servers. Great!! Also, not to mention that they had multiple hours of downtime because their data center is REGULARLY attacked by DDoS attacks, and apparently, they can't do anything against it but to wait until the DDoS attack ends. Sad.
- The owner extends the duration of the service if customers leave a positive review : This is just sad. They can't get great reviews normally, but instead, they offer to extend the duration of the service in exchange for reviews... https://imgur.com/a/fizsOnw
- They charge for some things that should be free : For extended support, they charge an additional 15€, even tho, with it, you get PRETTY MUCH NOTHING. For extended DDoS protection (base protection is fine and can protect against free stressers, but really huge attacks will not be blocked by it), they charge an additional 14€!! Oh, and did I mention that they warn you every time (or even suspend) if you have more than 70% CPU usage for 10 minutes? Well, that's because you don't actually have access to 100% of your CPU, and you have to pay that for up to 9€ ?

In conclusion, this is cheap, but you should rather go for something more expensive, but with better service and support, and a service that will not shutdown or restart your VPS every 5 days due to their UNEXPECTED maintenance or their datacenter not handling a simple DDoS attack.

I'm using FastVM for well over 4 months now, and I never had any major issues with it. The performance is great! You will never find anything at this price-point that performs this well.

All the services are equipped with a reliable DDoS Protection, which could be even better if upgraded to advanced protection (+14€/mo). I've personally encountered attack large enough that base DDoS protection could not handle it only once in all those months. This is something you'll never find by any European competitor - like, for example, Contabo, which suspends your VPS if it's under large attack!

Now, let's talk about support. It's not the best. It could be better (and it can be, but it's also a paid add-on). If paying for support is not a problem for you, then the support could probably be 5/5 as well.

In the end, let's talk about reliability. Well, the network is pretty stable. Ping is great! Their High-Performance servers are probably the best at this price-point in Europe - and trust me, I was searching for a great hosting for a long, but none of them had this price-to-performance ratio. The only issue is there was some downtime in those months, so I could not give it 5/5.

Overall, the best hosting I've came across so far. Please keep up the good work!

Currently I use this host for Minecraft, and so far it's handles it very well even with 20+ people online.
Support is great, and you get a reply within 5-1hours in the support discord.
The only problem I have with this host is, the plans massively jump price and if you want a minor upgrade, you can't since the plans are a massive jump in performance and price

tey are quick in solving problems

only - poin is that tey get many ddos but that is not tier fault

I use FastVM for both discord bot hosting and webhosting they perform well. I use webhosting for kuuro.xyz and the discord bot hosting for my discord bot that is in over 300 servers, performance is very good on all my 5 nodes I use to host the bot. Thank you FastVM.

Support is also decent, issue with me not being able to SSH into the server got fixed in just 3 minutes thanks! ?

I tried all plans of vps and i think is the best and cheap on all europe!

I buy a VPS to this shop, the model High Performance VPS XS, really looks nice, 4 GB DDR4 3000MHz, 2 vCores I9 9900K 5GHz, 60 GB SSD NVMe, 1 Gbit Port, etc.. but... is a disaster!

The VPS is super slow, I install a ubunte desktop very very light (xfce4) and when I go to check the installation I am surprised because I could not even move the mouse, it is very very very slow, I couldn't imagine that such a powerful processor couldn't have the strength to move a simple mouse pointer.

I consider that such a model cannot be called "High Performance", it is a scam.

But the surprise comes later, few minutes later having made the purchase, tested the server and saw that it did not work as it should, I ask the seller kindly to cancel and refund, he replies that not possible because the refund isn't include in his TOS, I have answered that since it is an Italian company it is under European laws and these laws indicate that the buyer has 14 days to test a product and request a refund if the buyer is not satisfied, he has told me no, and I I have told him that I was going to put a claim in Paypal, he has answered that ok and he has threatened me that he will include me in the anti-fraud system of different suppliers, he has surprised me because the only one who is committing fraud is the seller for not complying with European law.

Finally, do not buy services from this seller, it is a scam.
